Despite scoring nine points and capturing nine rebounds, Center Al Horford had the worst +/- in the Celtics with -19.
Thye Boston Celtics are a long way from losing in the NBA Finals when the Golden State Warriors won Game 5 104-94. Center Al Horford had one of his worst performances this post season.
Despite scoring nine points and capturing nine rebounds, the Dominican center had the worst +/- in the Celtics, with Jillian Brown, -19. In addition, he added an assistant and committed two turnovers.
The Puerto Plata player’s scoring production was due to three wins from six field efforts and two of three in the triple. He also hit one of two free throws he tried at the Chase Center. After the game, Horford said that the challenge is still going into Game 6.
“Our backs are against the wall and we have to see what we are made of. The challenge starts at home on Thursday,” Horford said after the match.
Mexico’s young Toscano-Anderson played in the last 1:19 minute of the fifth game, which ended in favor of the Warriors. The Aucklander recorded just two personal fouls and did not attempt to hit the floor during his time.
Game 6 of the NBA Finals will be played next Thursday at TD Garden at 9:00 ET, and it could be a game for two reasons.
