According to the details, following the 276 runs given by the national team, the visiting team piled up 155 runs in 32.2 overs. Muhammad Nawaz guided four players to the pavilion.
Brooks’ 44-run innings did not help West Indies, Kyle Meyers remained prominent with 33 runs, and captain Nicholas Puran also made 25 runs.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz led four players to the pavilion, Mohammad Wasim took three, Shadab Khan two, and Shaheen Afridi one.
Shadab Khan 22 and Mohammad Rizwan 15 runs returned to the pavilion, Fakhr Zaman 17 and Mohammad Nawaz scored 3 runs.
Mohammad Haris was caught by Joseph Hope for 6 runs. Khushdal Shah scored 22 runs and became the target of Joseph while Mohammad Wasim Jr. 17 and Shaheen Afridi remained unbeaten with 15 runs.
For West Indies, Iqbal Hussain took three wickets while Joseph and Philip took two wickets each.
Earlier, Pakistan had decided to bat first after winning the toss. The national team has a one nil lead in the three-match series.
A change has been made in the national team for the second ODI match against West Indies. Fast bowler Hassan Ali has been replaced by Muhammad Wasim Jr.
West Indies have also made a change in the squad, replacing Jaden Sales with Anderson Philip.
Speaking after the toss, national team captain Babar Azam said that he was satisfied with the performance of the first match and would maintain the winning streak.
West Indies captain Nicholas Puran said that the conditions are difficult but he will try to bowl well.
Pakistan had beaten West Indies by 5 wickets in the first ODI. In the first match played at Multan Cricket Stadium, Pakistan achieved the target of 306 runs for the loss of 5 wickets with four balls to spare. Babar Azam 103 and Imam Al-Haq remained prominent by scoring 65 runs.
